For People’s mayoral candidate Ana Dolidze thanked Georgian Public Broadcaster for organizing the debates between all the candidates, for “allowing 1,800,000 women voters to see all the candidates, including women, in the debate, despite the calls against it.”

According to Dolidze, regardless of whether the candidates like their opponents or not, they should be respected. “Tbilisi has lost its identity, and local self-government elections are an opportunity to change all that,” she added.

Nikanor Melia from the United National Movement, # 5, also took part in the debates but left after a one-minute of introduction speech.

The local elections are scheduled for October 2, 2021.
